With Los Angeles’ new Mayor soon to be sworn in Peekers are asking what’s next for Eric Garcetti, wife Amy Wakeland, and their kid? Is India in the cards and if so, when? According to the LA Times, Garcetti remains hopeful that his appointment will come through. Garcetti said, while riding in a Veterans Day parade in Pacoima,: “This India-U.S. relationship is critical. So I’m optimist because a lot of people said, ‘Wait til after the election.’ We can focus on it now and I’m optimistic we’ll get it schedule and get it done. I’m ready to serve.” In order to “get it done” the White House and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer will need to decide whether and when to call for a vote on the nomination. It’s been over 500 days since the nomination was made by the Biden Administration…what’s a few more days?
